This cannon leads to the branches of a tree, whih involve the drivergoing through piles of leaves. If one of these piles is hit, either a [[Banana]] or [[Mushroom]] will spring out. After this section, the driver will be atop the tree, where two [[Wiggler]]s will appear. If the driver hits one of these then the kart/bike will bounce away. Following a series of more twists and turns along branches, and driving across a [[Boost Pad]] towards a tight turn, the driver will be faced with a new obstacle; a net. This giant net can allow for drivers to perform tricks, as it is downhill and due to the wind bumps up and down. Maple Treeway is the third race course in the Star Cup in Mario Kart Wii.
