Music in Rainbow Road.
I was recently watching a YouTube video where the player was on rainbow road and the music was a remix of the Good Egg Galaxy music from Galaxy. Do you think this deserves a mention?--Kirbychu 21:32, 8 April 2008 (EDT)
At some place in the track, there is a star cannon. This cannon makes the same sound as a Launch Star. rend (talk) (edits)
- I think it's a stylized launch star.--Kirbychu 15:07, 14 April 2008 (EDT)

Princess Rosalina a heavy weight part 2
I heard rumors that the Luma that followers her give her weight. And or her bikes or karts. Or maybe the starbit contain tooo much calories.(LOL.joke.) Grapes
- Certainly it is a rumor from people... the fact about rosalina is a heavyweight is that she's more powerful than the other princesses (see her page, where it talks about her abilities)
¢oincoll€ctor this time is about power and not size-or-weight.
I have seen some video's with Rosalina. She is heavyweight because she is very tall (just like Waluigi). The Luma is the whole time flying in the air and don't add any weight. rend (talk) (edits)
- Bowser Jr. is also very tall in SMG, but he isn't a heavyweight. Nintendo is confusing sometimes. :/ PaperStriker
If you havn't noticed, the standard kart has for every weight a different name. With light-weigt Standard Kart S (small), with middle Standard Kart M (medium) and heavy Standard Kart L (large). This can mean that there are no difference between weight, but with size of characters. rend (talk) (edits)
How is Diddy and Waluigi is a bigger weight then they need to be anyway? And yes, nintendo is confusing... ~Toad allstar
Uhm, Rosalina has never been confirmed to be stronger than Peach or Daisy, and just because you eat a lot of calories doesn't mean you weigh more without being fat. (lol) She is the same height as Peach and Daisy, also. Luma could be why, other than that it is unconfirmed. Fixitup
Well now that I think of that the Luma only flys around and it not on the bike so it can't add weight. Grapes
It think it's logic why Bowser jr. and Diddy Kong are midweight. Other light weigts are much smaller than those two. Rosalina is in this game as long as Bowser, thats why she's heavy. When I wached those video's I noticed much more people are playing as mid weights and heavy weights, unlike past games. In older Mario Karts every bodey plays with light weights. What would be the reason? rend (talk) (edits)
That is a good reason. with 4 baby characters, Toad and Koopa, they are very small. Diddy is quite a bit more bigger. It does make sense. But why does Nintendo want everything to be so...accurate with the weight sizes? ~Toad allstar
Middleweight seems good for him. ~Toad allstar
Although Bowser Jr. was bigger than certain characters in SMG, he is not in this game. Sometimes characters like Jr. change size depending on appearance, and right now he is the same size he was around Double Dash!!.Fixitup
I think she's a heavyweight to balance it out (eg An equal number of light and heavy characters. Jdrowlands (talk) 09:18, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
where is it
wheres the "this game has just been realesed" meassage, as its been realesed in japan and europe, we did the same for the dr mario wiiware. It doesnt have to be realesed in america to put the meassage on, there are european users here! User:Superluigigalaxy
- The template is called {{justreleased}}, I replaced the old one. Time Questions 09:36, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
Karts
Are we going to add the name of the karts on the MKWii page? We should list the stats of each kart for each character once all are unlocked. MDupont 14:20, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
Sure, we are ¢oincoll€ctor you can see the Mario Kart DS article and it shows a table of every kart with the aspects ratio for every one.
Track Chart
Should we make a chart (similar to the one for Super Smash Bros. Brawl's stages) that gives a picture, the name, a description, which cup its on, and so forth? Stumpers! 15:36, 12 April 2008 (EDT)
- Sounds like a good idea to me. It makes it look more organized and professional, the page is kind of a mess so that would help. Glitchman (talk · contribs)
Before you guys start that don't you need all the images? Grapes Hope your idea works!
Yes, we should wait 'til the official sites update more. Fixitup
- If you could format it after Mario Kart DS's sheet, that would be nice. I'll gather Staff Ghost times eventually if it will not have been done by early May, and since all tracks are online that little section could be removed. Wa TC@Y 17:08, 12 April 2008 (EDT)
Trivia
could there be a trivia section, .e.g. "baby peach's artwork shows her driving the cheep cheep car although its not available at the start of the game" or "This is the first mario game in which the european and australian realese date is before the american realese", also should we say HOW to unlock the characters, readers may want to know how. UserSuperluigigalaxy
- The first one doesn't seem worthy of being pointed out in the trivia section, the second one could be added imo (if it's true, don't know). Stating how to unlock the characters is also okay, if spoiler tags are used and the article doesn't refer to the reader directly. Time Questions 04:42, 14 April 2008 (EDT)
- The trivia about the release isn't true, since the same goes for Mario Strikers Charged, here even each with more than a month of time lag. --Grandy02 04:47, 14 April 2008 (EDT)
Wrong again. Super Mario Strikers was the first Mario game released in Australia and Europe before America, not Mario Strikers Charged. My Bloody Valentine
- Actually, this game was released in Australia months after the release in America. Only Europe got it earlier. --Grandy02 05:47, 14 April 2008 (EDT)
Did ya guys know that the game was leaked into the internet. (A lot of people download it.)Princess Grapes Butterfly 06:24, 14 April 2008 (EDT) wikipedia:Mario Kart Wii
- But they are sacrificing trying the Wii Wheel first...anyways, PGB brought up a decent trivia fact to put in the article, see, it's unfair for us Americans, making us impatient... :P Wa TC@Y 06:36, 14 April 2008 (EDT)
I know how you unlock all characters, but I don't know where to put it in the article, so I'll post it here: Baby Daisy: Get at least the "1-star rank" on every new cup on 50cc - Baby Luigi: Unlock 8 expert staff ghosts - Toadette: Race on every course in Time Trials - Dry Bones: Beat the Leaf Cup on 100cc - Daisy: Beat Special Cup 150cc - Birdo: Race on 16 courses in Time Trials OR get 250 wins on Wi-Fi - Diddy Kong: Beat every cup on 50cc - Bowser Jr.: Get at least the "1-star rank" on every old cup on 100cc - Rosalina: Have a SMG save and restart a few times OR if you don't have SMG, get at least the "1-star rank" on every old cup on Mirror Mode - King Boo: Beat the Star Cup on 50cc - Funky Kong: Unlock 4 expert staff ghosts - Dry Bowser: Get at least the "1-star rank" on every new cup on 150cc - Mii (Outfit A): Beat the Special Cup on 100cc - Mii (Outfit B): Unlock all expert staff ghosts. Two Player Grand Prix and cc descriptions are wrong
Grand Prix is one player only. The article says 50cc is bikes and karts, 100cc is karts and 150cc is bikes only. This is wrong. 50cc is karts, 100cc is bikes and 150cc is mixed. This doesn't apply to online play where every cc class is mixed. Fredvdp 07:21, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
Most people on this Wiki haven't played Mario Kart Wii yet, so of course the article will look messy and incorrect. My Bloody Valentine
Artwork
Where's the artwork source? Many of it looks like they pasted older artwork on their karts. What gives? Some are from NSMB, MKDS, Even DDR:MM.
