The Vampire Candy is a green Candy in Mario Party 8. It has a picture of a Swooper on the wrapper, and when a player uses it, they transform into a vampire. As a "Vampire" character, they spin the dart wheel to determine how many coins they will steal from the other players. They will then steal the determined coins by knocking them out of the other players, and the coins are then deposited to their bank. In Tag Battle, players can steal coins only from the opposing team and not their own teammate, since each pair of teammates shares its coin and Star total. This Candy's effect is similar to that of the Vacuum Orb from Mario Party 7.
The player transformed into a vampire will have a purple hue on them, as well as red eyes with yellow sclera.
