The Goomba (also call Kuribo) is one of Mario’s most basic enemies. They have been around since Super Mario Bros. and have been a fan favorite for years.

Sub-Species

ParaGoomba - A Goomba with wings.

Spiked Goomba - A Goomba with a spike cap on it’s head.

Hyper Goomba - A Gooba with higher attack power and a yellowish tinge to it’s skin.

Gold Goomba - A Goomba with shinning gold skin. Not much is known about them. They were first seen in Mario Party 6.

Gloomba - A Gooba with high defence and a dark-blueish tinge to it’s skin. They only seem to exist in very dark places, such as the Pit of 100 Trials.

Tanoomba - A Gooba with the raccoon tail and ears similar to those granted by a Super Leaf. Seem to be native to BeanBean Land.

Gritty Goomba - A Goomba made of sand. They only exist in TeeHee Valley.

Giant Goomba - A Goomba of monstrous size. They only exist in Giant Land.

Little Goomba - Basically, these are Goomba that are very, very small. Some games refer to them as Goombites. They are only found in Giant Land.

Micro-Goomba - These are the children of Para-Goomba. When prey is near, they fly out and hold it down until the mother gets there.
