Gold Bowser Statues are statues of Bowser that first appeared in Super Mario World. Instead of shooting fireballs they jump toward Mario or Luigi. The only way to defeat it is to lure it into a lava pit.
Their immobile counterparts are the Gray Bowser Statues.
It had a cameo appearance in the Mario Party 6 minigame "Seer Terror". One of the fortunes that can happen to your character is to get crushed by a Golden Bowser Statue.
