Bombard King Bob-omb

Introduction

The camera shows the front of the platform, where King Bob-omb is raised into the room.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to defeat King Bob-omb by tossing normal Bob-ombs at him. Small Bob-ombs are worth one point, medium-sized ones are worth two, and big ones are worth three. Every turn, four Bob-ombs are transported onto the platform via conveyor belts, and players choose which one to toss by pushing one of the buttons shown. However, if two or more players pick the same bomb, they will run into each other and be temporarily dazed, preventing them from throwing one. Once King Bob-omb loses half of his health, he tosses Bob-ombs at the players who fail to throw a Bob-omb, causing them to lose one point.

When two players are playing, King Bob-omb also has the opportunity to pick up a Bob-omb. While his health is above half, he simply throws the Bob-omb backwards and disallows the player from throwing it at him. However, if his health has reached halfway and this happens, King Bob-omb instead throws the Bob-omb at the players, causing them to lose one, two, or three points, depending on the size of the Bob-omb that he throws.

The player who lands the final attack earns an additional three points, and the player with the most points wins the minigame.

Ending

Once King Bob-omb is defeated, he falls onto his back and explodes, revealing several Mini Stars in Party Mode and Solo Mode.

• Rules 1 – "Lob bombs at King Bob-omb! Bombs are thrown in order from left to right, and bigger bombs do more damage. Be careful: if two players or more select the same bomb, neither gets to throw it!"
• Rules 2 – "When there are only two players, King Bob-omb also gets to choose a bomb. If you choose the same bomb as he does, he'll steal it from you!"
• Controls – "Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press , , , or to pick a bomb."
