The Barrel Cannon is an item found in Smash Bros Melee. It is a barrel used for shooting a character that has got into it. The barrel is normally found in some levels (for example in the level "Kongo Jungle"), or can be found into crates.
As a collectible item, the barrel can be thrown at an opponent: in this manner the opponent will be stuck and the attacking character is able to do more damage to it. When thrown, the barrel rolls until it touches a character or falls off the arena.
