See discussion above. Now that Super Mario Party recategorizes the minigames where every player is pitted against each other as "4-player" (and I doubt it'll be any different in Mario Party Superstars), I think it's about time we merge :Category:Free-for-all minigames into this category. Though the reason I'm making a proposal out of this is because I'm actually simultaneously proposing a second merge to this category: :Category:General minigames. The reason I'm proposing this is because despite it being a category in Mario Party: Island Tour to denote it from the other minigames in the game, they're all really no different, as they still pit every single player against each other in the same way as other 4-player minigames in the series.

Shouldn't this be merged with Category:Free-for-All Minigames, since they're essentially the same thing? Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 20:01, 1 September 2018 (EDT)

According to the Minigame article, Free-for-All minigames are actually 4-player minigames, but they were renamed in MP9. So yes, i agree with you. Blue Yoshi from Yoshi's Story Yoshi Egg 1990 Red Yoshi holding a Bumber 'Chute 20:03, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
If they're called "Free-for-All Minigames" in Mario Parties 9, 10, and Star Rush, but called 4-Player Minigames elsewhere, should probably stay how it is to avoid confusion. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:12, 1 September 2018 (EDT)

See discussion above. Now that Super Mario Party recategorizes the minigames where every player is pitted against each other as "4-player" (and I doubt it'll be any different in Mario Party Superstars), I think it's about time we merge Category:Free-for-all minigames into this category. Though the reason I'm making a proposal out of this is because I'm actually simultaneously proposing a second merge to this category: Category:General minigames. The reason I'm proposing this is because despite it being a category in Mario Party: Island Tour to denote it from the other minigames in the game, they're all really no different, as they still pit every single player against each other in the same way as other 4-player minigames in the series.
