Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium is a reimagining of the Nintendo Entertainment System title, Excitebike in the style of the Mario Kart series. As a Satellaview title, Nintendo developed the video game and released four versions of it through the satellite download service operated by St.GIGA, each expanding on or replacing the features of the last.

There are 4 different versions of the game, each adding a new character. Version 1 featured Mario, Luigi, and Toad. Version 2 added Wario. Version 3 added Princess Peach. Version 4 replaced Luigi with Yoshi.
