Template:Minigame-infobox Domino Effect is a 4-Player and Duel minigame found in Mario Party DS. It is also the second minigame of Score Scuffle.
Gameplay
Players compete through a row of planks that fall gradually one behind another (as a "domino effect," thus giving the minigame its name). Contestants must jump over each plank, pressing the respective button that the plank means. If the player pushes the wrong button, the player will be stopped for a few seconds until they can start hopping again. If the player falls off with planks knocking, they will be out for the rest of the minigame. The player who arrives to the finish first is the winner. If all the players fall off with the planks knocking or if both players arrive to the finish at the same time in the Duel variant, they all lose and the minigame results in a tie.
If both players get the same score in the Duel variant that breaks the current record, it counts as a new record even though neither player won, as the screen will say "Tie" after the "New Record" fanfare. This also applies to the other Duel minigames with a record system.
