Super Dragon is Yoshi's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, based on Yoshi's shell-based abilities in Super Mario World. Upon activating the Final Smash, Yoshi will turn into a Winged Yoshi, allowing him to freely fly around the stage. Yoshi can ram into opponents to damage them, as well as exhale fire either as a continuous stream (which occurs when the attack button is not pressed), or in the form of a large Fireball (which occurs every time the attack button is pressed). In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Fireball explodes on contact with an opponent, whereas it pierces opponents in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. In this form, Yoshi cannot be KO'd by passing the blast lines, and he cannot be damaged. After some time has passed, Yoshi will return to normal.

Trivia
- The name also originates from Super Mario World; in the Japanese version the Message Block at Yoshi's House is signed "Super Dragon Yoshi", which was changed to simply "Yoshi" in the English releases; in the remake Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, however, once the game is cleared the text is signed "Super Dragon Yoshi" in all versions.
- On the trophy for this move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Yoshi's saddle is missing.
