Template:Minigame-infobox Burying the Hatchet is one of Wario-Man's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and one of Wario Deluxe's microgames in WarioWare Gold.

Gameplay

The objective is to have Wario's hand match up with Mario's, hence "burying the hatchet" to generous applause.

WarioWare: Twisted!

If failed, the picture between Wario and Mario will turn black and white and split apart.

  • 1st level difficulty: Mario's hand will always remain in a set position.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Mario's hand will be in one area, but suddenly change to another.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Mario's hand will slowly move up and down.

WarioWare Gold

If failed, Wario goes past Mario’s hand, looking back as he does so.

  • 1st level difficulty: Mario's hand will always remain in a set position.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Mario’s hand will move up and down, but as Wario gets closer, the hand stops.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Mario's hand will slowly move up and down.
