The setting of the minigame is similar to World 6-1 and other seaside-themed levels from Super Mario 3D Land. Its name is shared with an earlier Battle minigame from Mario Party 4, which in turn takes the name from the title of the book Rumble Fish by S. E. Hinton.
Gameplay
Players ride Lakitu's Clouds and are over a large body of water filled with Dragoneels underneath. The Dragoneels cause several ripples in the water.
