Riverside Station is a train station that the Excess Express stops at while Mario rides on it in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The station is also the home of the Smorgs. Mario must hit the switch inside the train station to activate the drawbridge, allowing the bridge to fall into place so the Excess Express can continue on it voyage. The station seems to be completely abandoned as it is covered in enemies and contains no signs of other people living there. Its possible they left because of the Smorgs or the enemies invaded the tower.
