The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.
Pumpkin Head is the conjectural name of an enemy from Super Mario Galaxy. They are found near a haunted house level and resemble Splunkins, but they are actually Goombas wearing jack o' lanterns. They are found mainly in the Ghostly Galaxy.
They cannot be stomped like regular Goombas; to defeat them, Mario must Star Spin to break their Jack-o-Lantern helmets, then attack them. Ground Pounding them also works.
The species is probably a reference to Super Mario World. In that game, if you finish Star Road, the Goombas will then wear pumpkin masks as these do.
A similiar species called Splunkins are seen in New Super Mario Bros. and are usually found in Ghost Houses. Template:Goomba
