Undergrunt Gunner is a boss in Super Mario Galaxy. He is a blue Monty Mole that mans a cannon. There are several ways to fight him in the game, such as jumping above him as Spring Mario and ground pounding on him. The player will have to do a certain tactic two more times to defeat him. He appears in the Deep Dark, Gold Leaf, and the Toy Time galaxies. There are two types: Water Gunner and Electric Gunner. The Water Gunners are considerably easier because the Electric Gunner fires homing misseles.
