Rocket Rush! is a level in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, and the fifth area of Krematoa.
The Kongs must navigate this cliff side level in a special rocket barrel. For the first half, they must descend to the bottom, conserving fuel so that they don't run out and crash. For the second half, they'll blast up the other side of the cliff, trying to reach the top without running out of fuel. In the GameBoy Advance remake, this level is harder, as there's no Star Barrel to be found and Buzzes can be found in greater numbers and are harder to defeat. Buzzes are the only enemy here, and while they can be defeated with exhaust from the rocket, sometimes they should just be avoided. There are no bonus areas in this level.
Trivia
- Strangely, on some copies of the SNES version of the game the 'G' letter is missing from this stage. It is in perfectly plain sight in the Gameboy Advance version and on the Virtual Console however.
- This is the only level that features an exclamation mark in the name before getting all the Bonus Coins. This is because this level does not have any bonus stages.
