Piece of Cake is a free-for-all minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush. This minigame, alongside Acornucopia and Corkscrew Climb, are the only Free-for-All minigames already unlocked upon starting a new save file.
Gameplay
Before every round, a cake is shown in the touch screen with several fruits on it. After 10 seconds, it is hidden and Shy Guy shows an piece of cake with one or two fruits on them. Players need to cut the cake on the right spot to match it with Shy Guy's. Players win a point every time they are correct. After 3 rounds, the winner is the one with the most points.
Controls
: Slide vertically to cut the cake.

- On-screen – "Memorize fruit placement and cut the cake!"
- Pause screen – "Memorize fruit placement and then cut the cake!"
