The Classic NES Series is a series of videogames for the Gameboy Advance that are remakes of old NES video games, with few or no changes. In Japan, each game is called a Famicom Mini. Several of these games were only released in Japan.

Mario games released were:

  • Classic NES Series: Donkey Kong - it should be noted that this game does not include the "pie factory" level, a level exclusive to the arcade version of the game. Presumably the level was kept out due to the game being a port of the NES version.
  • Classic NES Series: Dr. Mario
  • Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros.

Japan only games:

  • Famicom Mini: Mario Bros.
  • Famicom Mini: Super Mario Bros. 2 - This is a remake of the Lost Levels, as Super Mario Bros. 2 is what the Lost Levels are called in Japan. Follow the link to the game's page for more information.
  • Famicom Mini: Wrecking Crew
