When Waddlewings Attack is a Boost Mode Challenge in New Super Mario Bros. U.
Objective
As in all Boost Mode challenges, one player controls the character on the television screen while the other player uses the Wii U GamePad to place Boost Blocks that will help the character. The player must jump with the help of Boost Blocks placed by the player using the GamePad to jump and make it to the Goal Ring while avoiding groups of flying Waddlewings. The player must get to the Goal Pole in less than one hundred (100) seconds to pass the level.

- Silver Medal: 40.00 or less
- Bronze Medal: 100.00 or less
