Crowber is a raven enemy found in the game New Super Mario Bros. Often seen in World 8, these black birds swoop down at Mario at high speeds. As progress is made through a level, more and more will appear and chase after Mario. They can be very hard to dodge, and because of their speed, they're very hard to defeat. It is advisable to carry an extra Super Mushroom when in a level filled with Crowbers.
Trivia
- Several crows somewhat similar in appearance to Crowbers appear in the introduction sequence to Luigi's Mansion. These crows can be seen watching Luigi enter his mansion for the first time.
