In slightly earlier points in time, this world was policed by James McCloud and the original Star Fox team. After his death, the traitor Andross had completed his research on genetics. Using these new capabilities and an army he had scrounged together, Andross led his invasion on Corneria. The duty of saving the planet was bestowed on James' son Fox and a new Star Fox crew.
