Bluebirds are blue birds (or perhaps creatures in bird costumes) that serve as bodyguards to Valentina in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Mario and co. encounter these creatures inside the palace at Nimbus Land. In battle, they could utilize ice based attacks like Crystal and Blizzard and had high magic defense, so magic attacks didn't hurt them much. They could easily resist ice and sleep attacks, but were weak against fire attacks. They also have relatives called Birdiess who have better physical stats, but lower magic stats as well as reversed strength and weaknesses.
