Template:Missionbox Shoot into the Wild Blue is the third mission of Whomp's Fortress in Super Mario 64 and its remake, Super Mario 64 DS. The mission's goal is to collect the Power Star located on a floating platform.
Layout
The Power Star is found across a water basin, near a Bob-omb Buddy and the cannon that the Buddy activates. The Star can be reached through numerous methods, such as using the cannon to launch the player or performing a somersault followed by a wall jump on the nearby brick wall. The platform has a couple of poles that can be easily latched onto by using the cannon. Once the player is on the platform, they can easily collect the Star, located below the platform with a circle of coins.
