| ==Game-rendered vs Data-rendered models==
| | |
| Hello! Just here to tell you that just because you've uploaded a high-quality data-rendered model, that alone does not mean that a game-rendered one should be deleted. Those are two different things. Game-rendered ones have things like in-game lighting, normals, and shaders (as well as being native resolution), so they more accurately depict the entity as they appear in the game itself. | :Also, where's the Mr. I from? If that's a fan-made sprite assembly, it would be best to not have that; we removed one like that a while back, as it doesn't factor in the 3-dimensionality of the in-game layering. | ::Yeah, the pupil and eyeball were originally separate and I combined them. You can delete it, sorry about that. --[[User:AlexBot2004|AlexBot2004]] ([[User talk:AlexBot2004|talk]]) 00:31, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

| :::I mean, pieced together sprites are nothing new. Just look at ''Thousand-Year Door''. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 01:32, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

| ::::Those don't rotate separately along the upwards axis, generally speaking, nor do they use those hideous "pixel-smoothing" filters. This is more like some of the ''Yoshi's Story'' ones that desperately need replaced with screenshots.
