Major Burrows is a boss in the game Super Mario Galaxy. He lives on one of the planets of the Gusty Garden Galaxy. When first encountered, he is attempting to eat a Star Rabbit.
Appearance
Major Burrows resembles a large Monty Mole. He wears a Spiny shell as a helmet. His main attack is burrowing underground and rapidly charging at Mario, attempting to hit him with his Spiny helmet. Periodically, he pops out of the ground and may swipe at Mario with his claws.
Combat
Major Burrows is invincible while underground. The player must wait until he pops partially out of the ground and perform a Ground Pound. This knocks Major Burrows completely above ground and he will run frantically away from Mario, who must Star Spin him to do damage, after which he becomes angrier and burrows back underground. This process must be repeated two more times, and each time Major Burrows moves more quickly.
