Each character does their victory or losing animations in the center of the stage. The winner(s) walk(s) off the stage and onto their machines. They then attempt to shoot paint, trying to paint the losers. The losers then run around, trying to avoid being painted by the winners. The paint never actually hits the loser(s), however. If the minigame ends in a tie, the characters do their losing poses.
On the stage, the winning characters celebrate as they walk back to the paintball machines, while the losers sulk before they run around to avoid being shot at by the winning players. If the minigame ends in a tie, all characters will sulk and look dejected.
