- “MAAAACHO! I'm a powerhouse now, you pesterin; li'l pieces of prarie piffle! so long's I have this here machine, my bod'll be rough, tough, an' ultrabuff!”
- —Macho Grubba, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Macho Grubba is the powered-up form of Grubba, also the true final boss of the Glitz Pit in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He gets quite a makeover, going from blue to orange with a spiky shell and a wild orange hairdo, but still retains his original vest, glasses, and tie. In this state, he has 60 HP, and also has a very wide variety of attacks, including buffing himself, allowing himself to attack twice, and boosting his Attack Points. After being defeated, his power-sucking machine goes off, returning energy to Bandy Andy and King K, and freeing Prince Mush. In this form, he looks a lot like an orange Tubba Blubba.
