Red Spaces are spaces in the Mario Party Series series. When a player lands on a Red Space, they will loose three coins. After the last five turns, they may cause the player to lose six to nine coins. Also, like all the other spaces in Mario Party 8, the shape is different on each board, including the tutorial.

Also, in New Super Mario Bros. Red Spaces appear, and stand for a level that hasn't been completed, including types of Mushroom Houses.
