The course starts out on a straightaway which almost immediately splits into two intersecting paths. The straight path is longer, but the right path, leading into the center of the city, has many cars that could spin or possibly flip the player in the case of the Wiggler train. There is a shortcut located at the junction. If one takes the straight path, but stays of the left hand side, a small tunnel one kart wide will appear. This leads straight to the turn ahead. (Note: The [[Wario Car]] and the [[Parade Kart]] cannot use this shortcut as they are too wide.)

Mushroom City is a racecourse in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! The course can be raced in the Star Cup.

Mushroom City, as the name implies, is set in a large city. There are a few junctions in the course, but all paths lead to the same place. The course starts out on a straightaway which almost immediately splits into two intersecting paths. The straight path is longer, but the right path, leading into the center of the city, has many cars that could spin or possibly flip the player in the case of the Wiggler train. Either path leads to a single path with a small turn. After the turn, the right half of the track becomes nonexistent–falling results in Lakitu's rescue. Continuing on this path for a while, the course repeats.

There is a shortcut located at the junction. If one takes the straight path, but stays of the left hand side, a small tunnel one kart wide will appear. This leads straight to the turn ahead. (Note: The Wario Car and the Parade Kart cannot use this shortcut as they are too wide.)
