Bouldergeist is a boss in the game Super Mario Galaxy. Its name is a pun on boulder and poltergeist. It is the boss of the Ghostly Galaxy. It seems to be based on Eyerok from Super Mario 64. Bouldergeist has a srange appearance resembling Bogmire.

To defeat Bouldergeist, Mario must swing Bomb Boos into him. After three hits, he turns into a shadowy form that floats around. Swinging another Bomb Boo into him, he will be hurt and he'll try to recover his armor, this time, with hands. He has more attacks as it's hit but Mario defeat him in the same way. If the plumber swings more than one at a time, it does how many you swung damage.
