Template:Minigame-infobox Pinball Fall is a luck-based Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9.

Introduction

The camera, starting at the bottom of the hill, pans towards the top where the players are standing while also showing the layout of the field.

Gameplay

Each player picks a ball out of five which he/she thinks will reach the bottom first. If a ball gets stuck in a hole, that player has to shake the Wii Remote to escape. Along the way, there are also mushrooms and rotating blocks, which the players bounce off of.

Ending

A dejected Shy Guy finishes last.

Players run onto a podium in different spots, depending on their ranking. The player who finished last goes to a corner, disappointed. In the Step It Up version of this minigame, the podium only has one block.

In-game text

  • Rules"Choose your ball, then let luck take over as you roll downhill. Be the first to reach the bottom to win!"
  • Controls"Hold the Wii Remote vertically. Point at a ball, and press A Button to select. If your ball gets trapped in a hole, shake the Wii Remote to free it."
