Template:Minigame-infobox Light Speed is a duel minigame found Mario Party 7. Its name is a play on the speed of light, also known as "light speed".
Gameplay
Players in their hover-cars attempt to run over the tiles to change them to their own color.
There are also Warp Tiles that help players go across the areas easily. The player who has more tiles of his/her color wins. If both players have the same number of tiles of their color at the end of the minigame, the minigame ends in a tie.
Ending
The winning player is standing on the middle of the tile floor, outside of their hover-car doing their victory pose while the tiles constantly change color by row. The losing player is not seen. If the minigame ends in a tie, both players will stay on their respective tiles, as they spin in circles in their hover-cars.
