- Mario Kart Arcade GP VR (pictured)is currently the only Mario Kart game where neither Bowser nor Toad are playable. Bowser appears as a CPU opponent, and Toad doesn't appear at all.
- New Super Mario Bros. is the last game in the Mario series in which the sound effect of a Warp Pipe is also the damage sound effect for Mario/Luigi.
- Mario Party 3 and Super Mario Party are the only two games Mario Party games to not feature a Bowser-themed board.
