Introduction
The player standing on the wooden box hits a Mushroom target as the Goombas cheer. The screen then splits up before the minigame starts.
Gameplay
The players have to use the Wii Remote to point at the mushroom targets and shoot them within the time limit. There are two types of mushroom targets: the Super Mushroom (10 points) and the 1-Up Mushroom (30 points). If the player shoots a Goomba target, they lose 10 points. If the player knocks out all non-Goomba targets, a new set of targets is swapped in. The player who has more points when time runs out wins. If both players have the same number of points at the end of the minigame, it is declared a tie.
