Template:Minigame-infobox Lob to Rob is a Duel minigame that is found in Mario Party 8.
Introduction
The player standing on the wooden box is preparing to throw a ball to a Mushroom target, which they hit as the Goombas cheer. Then the screen splits up and then the minigame starts.
Gameplay
The players have to use the Wii Remote to point at the Mushroom targets and shoot it within the time limit. There are two types of mushroom targets: the Super Mushroom (which is 10 points), and the 1-Up Mushroom (which is 30 points). If the player shoots a Goomba target, they lose 10 points. If the player knocks out all non-Goomba targets, a new set of targets is swapped in.
The player who has the most points when time runs out wins. If both players have the same amount of points at the end of the minigame, it's a tie.
Ending
At the end of the minigame, the winning player stands on the wooden box and poses as the loser is chased by a group of Goombas into the forest. If a tie occurs, the players do their losing poses as the Goombas laugh.
In-game text
