Chump Rope is a 3 vs. 1 mini-game in Mario Party 8.
Introduction
The one player will be turning a rope with a Shy Guy, and three Goombas will be jumping in it, and will jump out. The 3 players will jump in instead. Then the rope will stop.
Gamplay
The one player is trying to trip the other 3. The 3 are trying to stay in. The 1 player turns the rope by turning the Wii Remote. The 3 jump by jerking their wii remote upwards. The one player can change the speed he is turning the rope, making it hard for the others to predict when to jump. The game ends when all 3 players are knocked out, or the timer runs out.
Ending
If the one player wins, then the other 3 will be shown in the background, jumping very fast, with 2 Shy Guys turning the rope. If the 3 win, the one player will be jumping.
