Mario Golf was a Mario sports spinoff for the Nintendo 64. It starred Mario and the other reccuring characters of the series in a golf-themed game. Mario Golf has become a continuing series, with sequels such as Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Mario Golf: Advance Tour. The original game introduced some new characters into the Mario world, such as Charlie, Harry, Maple, Plum and Sonny.

There are other modes in the game, all for
Putt-putt Mode
You can use your skill to play a little game of putt-putt. There are plenty of courses to play on, all with wacky quirks fit to the Mario name.
Practice Mode
This mode is for practicing your golfing skills. There is a driving course to build up your game. It also comes with different grounds, bunkers, rough, sand, rock, and regular grass. You can even control the setting of the course to make it towards your favor.
