A Peach is an edible, highly juicy piece of fruit with restorative properties. Peaches from the Mushroom World are gigantic in comparison to their Real World counterparts. The smallest known peach is roughly the size of a human head. The largest known Peaches grow in the Peach Kingdom on two large fruit trees deep inside the Arctic Plunge and Ancient Foundry. Both were eaten by Donkey Kong on his quest to defeat the tyrannical Torch Tusk during the events of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, peaches appear at Princess Peach's Final Smash, the Peach Blossom. The move puts all of Peach's enemies to sleep while normal-sized Peaches fall from the sky. Because of the state of her opponents, Peach is free to consume all of the Peaches and restore her health. The Final Smashes of all other characters directly relate to actions or items from individual worlds. While Peaches do not explicitly grow in the Mushroom Kingdom, Peachy Peaches do. Because of this, it is possible that Peaches and Peachy Peaches are related to one another or are really the same fruit.
