Template:Species-infobox Twisters[1] are placeable wind-producing entities in Super Mario Maker 2. They are small white spheres with eyes, and in the 2D styles, have small hair-like protrusions around their bodies. They spin around along the ground producing a large Tornado above them, which can lift both the player and enemies.

Trivia

A prototypical Twister in the Super Mario World game style.
  • In the initial Nintendo Direct revealing the game, Twisters in the Super Mario World style were depicted with a similar design to a Fwoosh or Foo, having a mouth blowing the air upwards. However, artwork of them in their final design for the Super Mario 3D World style was released concurrently.
