Blaze the Cat is one of the more recent Sonic the Hedgehog characters. She is a princess from another dimension, but commonly teams up with Sonic through some abnormal means. She will be featured as a playable character in the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, with her character type being All-Around.
As is the case with most other Princess characters in the Mario series, Blaze will wear a sports attire for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, in oppose to her normal princess outfit, as will Peach and Daisy.
