Li'l Marchers appear when [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] triggers an alarm. They follow him continuously until he activates a yellow switch. They will damage Yoshi if they bump into him, defeating themselves as well. Yoshi cannot jump on them because of the horn on their heads. If Yoshi throws an egg at one, they are briefly pushed back. Li'l Marchers can be defeated temporarily if they bump into another of their species.
