Shouldn't this be moved to 1-Up, since that's an official name from the games? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

I think so... in case "Extra Life" is not official as well. Time Questions 09:54, 23 January 2010 (EST)
In case it helps, the Super Mario Bros. manual states:
If Mario picks up 1 up mushroom, he gets an extra life.
"1 up" is used only as part of the item here, and "extra life" as the term for the additional life you get by collecting it. The rest of the manual uses "extra life" and "extra Mario".--vellidragon 09:43, 4 February 2010 (EST)
Well, I guess "Extra Life" is official. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
