- This article is about the fifteenth course in Super Mario 64 and its remake. For the secret course in the same games, see Over the Rainbows.
Template:Missionbox Somewhere Over the Rainbow is the sixth mission of Rainbow Ride in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. The objective is to use the cannon to reach a far off platform.
The mission's name is a reference to the song from MGM's The Wizard of Oz.
Layout
If the player has not already opened up the cannon, they will need to talk to the Bob-omb Buddy on top of the large maze by using Mario's Wall Kick at the back of the maze.
At the four spinning platforms, they need to take the magic carpet. After passing the obstacles on its path, the player needs to take the next carpet on the left before the one they are on falls. Remaining on that carpet and passing the spinning platform will take the player to the large ship. On the stern of the ship is the cannon the player needs to jump into. The player needs to line up their shot so they fly through the rainbow ring in the air and grab the pole on the floating platform beyond it. While avoiding the Chuckya, the player has to hit the ! Block to reveal the Power Star. Alternatively, the player can go to the top of the house and Backwards Long Jump to reach the platform without using the cannon.
