King Toadstool, the Mushroom King, as he appears in the comics.
King Toadstool, the Mushroom King, is the king of the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach's father. He only appeared in the Mario comics, but was mentioned in the Super Mario Bros. instruction manual. In the comics, he is a scatter-brained numbskull. King Toadstool most likely ruled the Mushroom Kingdom while Peach was a baby. However, it seems that the Princess herself became leader of the kingdom after she grew up.
