Template:Missionbox The Manta Ray's Reward is a mission in the Dire, Dire Docks course in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. In Super Mario 64, it is the course's fifth mission, though in Super Mario 64 DS, it was moved to the course's seventh and final mission. Other than the mission number, nothing else has changed.

Layout

In the first area of the course, there is a Manta Ray circling about halfway down underwater. The Manta drops Bubble Rings as it swims and the player needs to go through five of them. If the player misses one, the counter will reset. Once five consecutive Bubble Rings have been passed through, the Power Star will appear above the cyclone in the center of the area.
