Big Bertha is a sub-species of Blurp who lives deep in the sea in Super Mario Bros. 3. She carries Baby Cheeps in her mouth (for protection), and occasionally spits them out, to protect herself. Her male counterpart is Boss Bass who swims on the surface, not deep in the water like her.
