Wario's Woods is a puzzle game released for the Super NES in 1993, and later released on the NES in 1994, the last game to be released for the console in North America. It was also one of the many playable NES games in Animal Crossing for the Nintendo GameCube.
The plot of the game is that Wario's monsters are invading the Mushroom Kingdom. Wanda, Toad, and Birdo (all misfit characters at the time) set out to defeat the monsters. The game plays similarly to Tetris. Toad is the main hero, and Birdo and Wanda would help Toad by giving him encouragement bombs to destroy the monsters (respectively). If Toad took too long to complete a level, the rascal Wario would grab Birdo and replace Wanda with a Pidgit. The two would then throw more monsters at Toad.
