Dino Domain is an area found on Timber's Island in the game Diddy Kong Racing and its remake Diddy Kong Racing DS. The entrance to this place is located between the two waterfalls in the center of Timber Island, and the player requires one Golden Balloon to enter it. The race tracks of Dino Domain feature a prehistoric theme, with canyons, fossils, dinosaurs and a volcano. The boss of Dino Domain is Tricky the Triceratops.
Dino Domain is the first world of Diddy Kong Racing and Diddy Kong Racing DS and an area of Timber's Island. Racers are required to have at least one Golden Balloon to enter. Dino Domain is set in a dry, prehistoric area with dinosaurs and pterodactyls. Most of the courses are in a canyon landscape, which features small lakes and some plant life, specifically grass and pine trees. One of the stages is set in an entirely volcanic region, along with its Challenge Level. Tricky the Triceratops is the boss of Dino Domain.

The world's hub is located to the right of Wizpig's rock-carved head on Timber Island. To enter Dino Domain, the racer drives up a small bridge leading into a tunnel carved in a hill. A large door to the hub is located at the end. A rainbow is positioned just outside the tunnel, likely resulting from the waterfalls on each side. The Challenge Door is located on the right side, with a small pond just outside it.

Like its subsequent worlds, Dino Domain has a Trophy Race that the player can enter after they win against Tricky again. Also like the other worlds, T.T. walks around the center of Dino Domain's hub, and the player can bump into him to review their game progress.

Race Tracks
Ancient Lake
Ancient Lake
The Ancient Lake track is set in a flat, green area with rock formations and a gray, stony path. The default vehicle for this track in a Kart. The second half of the level features a river and a wandering dinosaur. The dinosaur will occasionally cross the road and may trample over careless racers in the process.

Fossil Canyon
Fossil Canyon
Fossil Canyon is a race track in a rugged area with dusty ways and the race takes place at sunset. The level features another dinosaur, but unlike the one from Ancient Lake, this one will not interfere with the race. About halfway of the track, some ancient ruins can be seen.
br
Jungle Falls
Jungle Falls (Diddy Kong Racing)
Like Fossil Canyon, Jungle Falls takes place in another rugged area. On this track, even more ancient ruins and rock formations can be found. The most prominent feature of this course is the gigantic dinosaur skeleton that surrounds the road near the end of the track.
br
Hot Top Volcano
The Hot Top Volcano track of Dino Domain takes place in a cavernous area with volcanic activity. The course is traversed by Planes. Many areas of this track are overrun by lava and the dinosaurs from the first two tracks return, getting in the racers' way on occasion. Though the lava might look menacing, it has actually no influence on the racers.

Tricky's Course
Tricky the Triceratops, the boss of Dino Domain is required to be raced twice. The first time after the player won on all tracks, and a second time after all the Silver Coin challenges are completed. The race itself takes place on a road that spirals it way up a mountain. The player has to beat Tricky the Triceratops in a race to the summit. Along the way, boulders will roll down the mountain that can flatten the racer. Several stone pillars may also collapse and block part of the way. If the player is not careful, Tricky may trample over the racer and slow them down. After the boss is defeated two times, the player receives a part of the Wizpig Amulet.

After the player collects the key hidden in Dino Domain, they will get access to Fire Mountain, where they can obtain a part of the T.T. Amulet. The challenge of Fire Mountain takes place in a volcanic area. The center of the arena houses eggs that can be picked up by a racer's plane. The racer has to carry the egg to his nest located in one of the four corners of the arena. By doing so, the egg will start to hatch. An unhatched egg can be picked up by an opponent who will take it to his or her own nest. After an egg has spent enough time in a racers nest, it will hatch, meaning that it can no longer be taken by anyone. The player who hatches three eggs first, wins.
