Template:Minigame-infobox Polar Extreme is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9. It is a pun on the children's book, The Polar Express. The name may also be based on the terminology "polar extreme", which represents radical viewpoints.
Introduction
The camera focuses on the ship at the end. Then, it switches to the players.
Gameplay
As the screen auto-scrolls to the right, the competitors must reach the ship first or survive longest by jumping on breakable ice chunks which shift under their weight.
